Gary Sosniecki stopped by Lebanon Now to tell us all about how Lebanon and Laclede County will celebrate another chapter of Route 66 history this January as three remarkable names are added to the Laclede County Route 66 Wall of Fame. The Lebanon-Laclede County Route 66 Society has announced its 2026 class, honoring people whose stories, businesses and commitment helped define the character of Route 66 through our community.

Pete Spencer recently completed his two-year follow-up scans after a battle with testicular cancer, and he is healthy. He sat down with Lebanon Now to share his story and encourage men to pay attention to their bodies.

Lebanon Rotary Highlights Community Based Education and Service

Music reaches places words can’t. For Lebanon veteran Jason Golden, healing began with Songs For Heroes, a Nashville nonprofit that pairs veterans and first responders with professional songwriters to turn real experiences into original songs.

Lebanon R-3 Schools honored the brave men and women who have served or are currently serving in the United States Military. The ceremony paid tribute to their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve.

Celebrate 155 years of faith and community with First United Methodist Church of Lebanon!

The Hughes Senior Center is the place to be this week, and visitors are more than welcome. Stop by 460 W. Fifth Street to meet friends, try something new, and enjoy a full slate of activities and hot lunches.

Adam Fries, our Veterans Correspondent at Lebanon Now, serves this community with the same heart he showed in uniform. He lifts up the voices of veterans, honors their stories, and reminds us what real service looks like. As we head into Veterans Day on November 11, we honor Adam’s service and his work. Thank you, Adam, and thank you to all who served.

Lebanon Now joined the Lebanon Rotary at The Wallace Building today for the weekly meeting, where Veterans Day and service to others took center stage.
