During Farm Camp, children will move through activities throughout the day, which will encourage critical thinking, cooperation, team work, creativity, and of course fun. Interactions with farm animals, making meals straight from the garden, learning local plant and animal ecology, meeting pollinators are just a little of what is to come.
Storytime will be every Thursday from 10am-11am during the Summer Reading Program. In storytime, we sing songs, read several books and do crafts. Snacks will not be provided. This program is geared towards 2-6 year old's. Each week will have a different theme related to the 2025 Summer Reading Program theme, "Color Our World!"
This event is held on Tuesdays from 2pm-4pm in Andy's Storytime Room. LEGO Club will primarily be a self-led program where kids can follow an instruction sheet or build something from their imagination. Legos will be provided by the library and will stay in the library. All creations will be torn apart at the end of the program, but photos can be taken and posted to the Library Facebook page to help show them off.

Our curriculum emerges with signals from the season. As farmers, we shift our daily work based upon the season progression. Children are naturally curious about the environment and we let their natural discoveries guide our explorations and activities. Our program includes a balance of teacher-directed and child-directed activities. Teacher-directed activities include group meeting/circle time, projects, crafts, walks, and science experiments. The remainder of our program time is centered on child-directed activities in our learning dome (gross motor play, blocks, easel, dramatic play, sensory bins, mud kitchen, books, etc. Our curriculum focuses on the experience and children being in the moment. We encourage imaginative, collaborative play for children of all ages.
