"How did it get so late so soon? It's night before it's afternoon. December is here before it's June. My goodness how the time has flewn" - Dr. Seuss.
There’s not much news to report today, but it is a fun one on the calendar. It’s National Cookie Day, a light-hearted celebration of the sweet treat that fills so many kitchens during the holidays. It’s also National Sock Day, a reminder of how much comfort a simple pair of warm socks can offer and a good nudge to donate to those in need. It will be cold, so bundle up if you’re heading out for cookies or socks, and while you’re picking up holiday treats, don’t forget your favorite local news team here at Lebanon Now.
Also, don’t forget that next Friday, December 12 is Christmas on Commercial Street. The evening will feature the light-up ATV parade, the Winter Wonderland Gala at The Art Guild, Peppermint Park at Hudson Feed and Grain, and Santa Claus at The Cackle Hatchery. Downtown will be glowing with holiday spirit and it’s shaping up to be a wonderful night.
