Project 3:60 Youth Services is celebrating a major step forward after ten years of serving youth in Lebanon who are experiencing homelessness or housing instability.
The organization began after learning that dozens of local high school students were living with relatives, couch surfing, or sleeping in cars while trying to finish school. What started with no funding and no facility quickly grew into a trusted safe space where youth could find meals, mentorship, support, and positive adult relationships.
Since opening, Project 3:60 has served 681 different youth, with more than 25,500 total visits. Many return regularly, showing just how important the program has become in their lives.
Now, the organization is outgrowing its current 5,000-square-foot rented space and is launching a capital campaign to build a permanent home called the Soundhouse. A public groundbreaking will take place Monday at noon on South Jefferson. The campaign goal is $3 million, with $1.7 million already raised.
The new 8,000-square-foot facility will allow Project 3:60 to expand services and reach even more youth. This project matters because supporting young people strengthens the entire community and helps ensure a more stable future for Lebanon.
