Meet Garth, this week’s star of Claws and Paws at the Ozark Fiber Studios.
Garth is about six to six and a half months old and looks to be a shepherd mix with a little bit of everything in him. He’s incredibly sweet and affectionate, already handing out hugs and kisses to everyone he meets. He even came to the shelter with his brother Wayne, who has already been adopted, so now it’s Garth’s turn to find his forever home.
He gets along well with other dogs and has even met a cat. While he definitely doesn’t bother the kitty, he might be just a little more scared of it than the cat is of him. Garth is also doing well with potty habits and prefers using his outside kennel, which is a great sign for future training.
If you’d like to meet Garth, the adoption process is quick and easy. Applications can be filled out online or at the shelter and usually take about 10 to 15 minutes. The full process can be done in about 30 minutes. If you already have a dog at home, you can even bring them by for a meet and greet.
Garth’s adoption fee is $175, and he will be up to date on his vaccines, neutered, and microchipped.
