Lebanon Utilities is launching a new online payment system June 3.

The new system is meant to make it easier, safer, and more flexible to pay your bill. It’s part of a full upgrade to the city’s financial software.

There will be a short downtime. Online and phone payments will shut off starting May 30 at 3:30 p.m. Don’t schedule anything after that—those payments won’t go through.
Automated phone payments are being shut down for good. Anyone using online pay or auto-pay will need to re-register in the new system starting June 3.

City Hall will close early on May 30 and June 2 at 4:00 p.m. to prepare.

“This is a big step forward,” said Sean Bennett, Finance Director for the City of Lebanon. “We recognize there may be a few days of inconvenience, but in the long run, this system will make paying your utility bill much easier and more secure.”

The city will post signup links and instructions as the launch gets closer. Staff will be available to help walk people through it.

Watch out for scams. You might get emails, texts, or calls from Lebanon Utilities about the update. These are legit—but they’ll never ask for your personal info or a payment. If something feels off, call them at 417-532-2345.
