Meet Chief, this week’s Pet of the Week with Claws & Paws!
Chief is a young, high-energy doodle mix with a fresh haircut and a personality to match. He’s incredibly food motivated, knows basic commands like sit and lay down, and is very trainable. With his intelligence and energy, he would thrive in an active home—whether that’s running, hiking, or just having a big fenced-in yard to play in.
He’s a total sweetheart who loves attention and settles down nicely after he’s had time to burn off energy. He rides well in the car, did great with grooming and vet visits, and would benefit from toys like Kongs or puzzle treats to keep him engaged.
Chief came in as an owner surrender and is ready for a home that can give him the time, activity, and love he needs.
