Daisy stopped by the Lebanon Now studio this week for our Pet of the Week segment, sponsored by Delong Plumbing, and she absolutely stole the show.

This four-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix has the sweetest brindle coat and an even sweeter personality. From the moment she walked into the studio, Daisy was calm, friendly, and happy to be there. She’s smart, food motivated, and well behaved, the kind of dog that fits right in and makes herself at home. She even showed off a few commands, proving she’s eager to learn and loves positive attention.
Daisy does have an old hip injury from her time as a stray, likely from being hit by a car before she was rescued. While she may favor her back leg if she gets overexcited, it doesn’t slow her down much, and maintaining a healthy weight has made a big difference. It certainly doesn’t take away from her loving, gentle nature.

She’s confident around people, not shy, and enjoys new environments. Daisy may chase a cat if one runs, but she’s not aggressive, and Claws and Paws always recommends meet-and-greets in a neutral space for families with other pets.
Daisy is available for adoption at the Claws and Paws Adoption Center. The adoption process is quick and easy, and they’re also always looking for volunteers to help walk dogs, socialize animals, and give these pets the attention they deserve.
