Meet Missy! An Adorable Chihuahua Mix Searching for her FURRever Home.

Sarah with Lebanon Now, joined by Kelly from Claws and Paws Adoption Center to bring you the Pet of the Week. The segment had an extra personal touch this week, as Sarah shared that she and her husband Ryan, recently adopted Charlee, a former Pet of the Week whose puppies had all found homes. Charlee is as happy as ever and settling in wonderfully to her new home, and Claws and Paws loves seeing their animals go to great homes right here in the community.

This week’s featured pet is Missy, a three-year-old Chihuahua and possible Dachshund mix with a sweet personality and a little bit of spunk. Missy can be a bit shy at first but likes to let new people know she’s there, making her a great little alarm system. Once she warms up to you, she is incredibly affectionate and loves being close to her people, whether that’s cuddling on the couch, riding along in the car, or curling up in a lap.

Missy is fully up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. She comes with a few toys of her own, including her favorites she’s known for collecting and “hoarding” around her bed, as well as a sweater to keep her warm. Missy had arrived with a friend who has already been adopted, and now Missy is patiently waiting for her turn to find a FURRever home.

Pet of the Week is proudly sponsored by Kim Breeden with Shelter Insurance, whose support helps make these stories possible. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion, Missy is waiting to meet you at Claws and Paws Adoption Center. Stay tuned for next week’s Pet of the Week.
