Lebanon Now Expands Election Coverage for 2026
With filing for the April 2026 election now open, Lebanon Now is officially launching expanded election coverage for this cycle. David Milsap will help report and oversee coverage for every race that impacts the citizens of Laclede County. From school board to city, county, state, and federal offices, Lebanon Now will follow each step of the process throughout the filing period and election season.
Lebanon Now will also partner with several agencies to ensure voters know when and where to cast a ballot, how to get registered, and who the candidates are. Coverage will include live primary and election night reporting, interviews with candidates, and clear breakdowns of every race.
Lebanon R-3 School Board Filings
Filing for the Lebanon R-3 School Board opened December 9 and will run through December 30 at 5 pm. As of this morning, the following candidates have filed:
Jina Richardson
Charlie Darnell
Mary Russell
Craig Blair
City of Lebanon Filings
Douglas B. Kinde has filed for City Attorney.
The following candidates have filed for City Council:
Chuck Jordan – Councilman Ward 4
Joe Berkich – Councilman Ward 2
Sheila Mitchell – Councilman Ward 2
Jeff Stokes – Councilman Ward 1
Jaret Scharnhorst – Councilman Ward 1
Randy Haefner – Councilman Ward 1
