Conway schools will dismiss early today following damage to a gas line and HVAC unit behind the elementary building. District officials announced that all schools will release students at 11:00 a.m.
The elementary has been cleared by the fire department, and students have returned to the building. Elementary, junior high, and high school students will be dismissed according to normal procedures. Staff will remain with any students until they are picked up.
All extracurricular activities scheduled for today have been canceled. The district will provide an update later regarding school tomorrow.
