Laclede County Sheriff’s Department investigates a homicide .

The Laclede County Sheriff’s Office is currently working a homicide where the victim was found in the 10000 block of Birch Road. The victim was identified as 27-year-old David Arbogast of Lebanon. The next of kin has been notified.

Central dispatch received a 911 call that a male had been shot. The call came in on 6/24/25, at 2:50 pm. When deputies arrived, they found the victim dead with apparent gunshot wounds. Investigators have processed the scene, conducted several interviews, and are gathering and developing information regarding the homicide. An autopsy is scheduled.
