Good Morning! It’s Tuesday, June 24, 2025, and this is your Daily Briefing.
It is the 175th day of the year.
The Williams Williams lost their home yesterday in a fire on Flatwoods Church Road. The fire destroyed the entire house. Several area fire departments responded, and the Red Cross was on site providing support.
The Williams family lost everything in the fire. A GoFundMe has been set up to help them with food, clothes, and other immediate needs. Lebanon Now has verified that the fundraiser is managed directly by the family, with no third-party involvement.
If you’d like to help, donations can be made here: https://gofund.me/cac3449e
You can contact the Williams directly to arrange a donation by calling - 417-630-9509
At big-box pharmacies, you’re often just another number—waiting in long lines, dealing with inconsistent service, and squeezed into hurried consultations. At Noble Drug of Lebanon & Camdenton, we do things differently. We slow down, take the time to understand your needs, and care about your medications as much as you do.
Stop by today for a prescription fill that feels like a conversation, not a transaction.

Commission to review tax refunds and library board appointments On Tuesday
The Laclede County Commission will meet at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, in the Commission Meeting Room at the courthouse to consider two key items.
First, commissioners will weigh a request under RSMo 139.031.5 allowing taxpayers who mistakenly paid real or personal property taxes to apply for a refund or have the amount credited against future bills within three years of payment. Staff will notify the collector’s office of any claims, verify the amounts in question and ensure applications are filed before the deadline. No interest can be paid on these overpayments (revisor.mo.gov).
Second, the commission will appoint new members to the Library Board. Regular meetings are held every Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. in the Commission Meeting Room at the Laclede County Courthouse and open to the public.
