A special moment for Lebanon was highlighted in the studio this week as Victoria from JustServe joined Sarah to share how the free volunteer platform is helping connect people with service opportunities both locally and around the world.

One of the biggest moments from the conversation was the recognition of Lebanon’s own John and Luquita Angst, who received the very first JustServe Hero Award ever presented in the state of Missouri. The award honors people who go above and beyond in serving their community with love, kindness, and generosity, and Victoria shared just how meaningful it was to see a Lebanon family become the first recipients in Missouri. Their lifetime of service to our community made them the perfect choice, and it’s a reminder of the giving spirit that makes Lebanon so special.

JustServe allows nonprofits, churches, and civic groups to post volunteer opportunities for free, while community members of all ages can use the app or website to find ways to help right here in Lebanon or anywhere they travel.
