Welcome back to The Hughes News at the Hughes Senior Center. Administrator Debbie Dowden and board member Tina Cross are here to share updates on recent events, daily activities, and a packed week ahead.

The recent silent auction was a success, and there is still one item available. The quilt from the auction will be raffled off this Friday. The center continues to stay busy every day with pool, cards, bingo, balloon volleyball, gospel sing, music jam, and more. Visitors are also encouraged to check out the on-site gift shop, which offers affordable gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays.

Upcoming highlights include a trivia game on January 28 at noon and ongoing nominations for the Valentine’s King and Queen. Volunteers are always welcome, even if you can only help for an hour.
