Elevate Lebanon Brings the Community Together with “Taste of Laclede County” Fundraiser
Lebanon is full of people who care, and Elevate Lebanon continues to find creative ways to turn that care into real help for neighbors in need. This week, we sat down with Robin and Beth from Elevate Lebanon to talk about their newest fundraiser, Taste of Laclede County, and the many ways their organization supports our community year-round.

Taste of Laclede County is a passport-style fundraiser featuring 28 local restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, and bakeries. Each passport includes a special offer from every participating business. Once you purchase the passport, you simply show it when you order. The business stamps or signs it, and that offer is redeemed. Each deal is good for one-time use, and the passport itself is valid from January 1 through December 31, 2026. It works for dine-in or carryout, making it easy to support local businesses while enjoying great food.
Some of the deals include buy-one-get-one offers, lunch specials, and discounts across a wide range of local favorites. With 28 participating locations, the passport is designed to pay for itself while helping fund important services right here in Laclede County.
Passports are $40 each and can be purchased at the Elevate Lebanon thrift store, the Elevate Lebanon office, or the Laclede County Record. Payment options include cash, check, or card using a QR code at each location.
Beyond fundraising, Elevate Lebanon focuses on addressing gaps in services for individuals and families facing insecurity. Their work centers on three main areas: housing assistance, utility assistance, and workforce development. Rather than duplicating services already offered in town, Elevate Lebanon works to identify unmet needs and step in where help is most needed. In a community filled with nonprofits, that collaboration and focus is what makes their work so impactful.
Elevate Lebanon also hosts outreach events designed to connect people with resources in times of extreme weather. Their Winter Outreach on Wednesday, takes place at the YMCA and is open to everyone. The event includes free haircuts, hot homemade food, and representatives from approximately 17 local nonprofit agencies. Attendees can learn about available services, receive cold-weather items, and connect with organizations offering medical, dental, housing, and other support. Whether someone is in need, knows someone who is, or simply wants to better understand what resources are available in Lebanon, the event is designed for the entire community.
Another upcoming event is Elevate Lebanon’s annual Father-Daughter Dance. Now in its fourth year, the event continues to grow and has become one of their most loved traditions. Tickets are currently on sale and make a popular gift for Christmas. The dance celebrates the importance of a positive father figure, whether that role is filled by a dad, stepdad, grandparent, uncle, or another meaningful mentor. Along with being a fun night, the event highlights the lasting impact those relationships have on young lives.
